We are based in VISALIA,CA and have an excellent team of employees who are responsible for the design, installation, and inspection of sprinkler systems, kitchen fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and kitchen hood/duct systems. We have an extensive customer base that we perform recurring inspection and repair services throughout the area. About The Position
Phoenix Fire protection is seeking to train a Fire Extinguisher Technician. This position will learn the ability to inspect, repair and replace Fire Extinguishers and emergency/exit lights, as well as preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports for established customers on a scheduled basis. *After training is complete, you will be assigned a company vehicle and given daily routes of customers to service. Hourly wage will be based on experience Potential Quarterly Bonuses
Qualifications
  • A current valid driver’s license with 3 or less points is required. 
  • Three years of licensed driving experience is required. 
  • High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • Experience using a variety of hand tools. 
  • Willing to work varied hours, early morning and weekend shift when needed. 
  • Capable and willing to learn and study about the different fire extinguishers in order to pass tests and become certified. 
  • Takes initiative, pursue opportunities, and tackle goals. 
  • Must have excellent attendance and can handle responsibility. 
  • Must be comfortable working on ladders 6 to 12ft and on lifts. 
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs 
  • Ability to work overhead and in unusual or small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces 
  • Skills to communicate well with customers and explain the work being done and any repairs that are necessary. 
  • Skills to write well and be very detailed in your write up on service work. 
  • Must be well organized and be able to keep track of service tickets and process all required documents for each service performed.
